Vehicle Requirements

• • Right-hand drive only: Allowed except ambulances and fire engines.
• • Age restriction: No age restriction on used vehicles.
• • Roadworthiness inspection: Mandatory (JEVIC-certified).

Taxes and Fees

• • Import VAT: 16% of taxable value (customs value + customs duty + excise duty, if applicable).

Required Documents

• • Original certificate of title and registration.
• • Commercial/purchase invoice (with date and price).
• • Driver's license and international insurance (green card).
• • Original bill of lading and non-sale certificate.
• • Letter of transfer from employer.
• • Valuation certificate.
