• • Right-hand drive vehicles: Allowed for import, with exceptions for special vehicles such as ambulances.
• • Age restriction: No age restrictions on imported used vehicles.
• • Inspection: Intertek inspection required after purchase in Japan.
• • MOZ number: Must be applied for at the Intertek office in Maputo. Ensure the invoice includes the engine number.

Duties & Taxes

• • Custom duty based on engine displacement:
