Customs Duties & Other Taxes

  • Passenger cars: 45%–65% (based on engine size, age, fuel type, category).
  • Trucks/vans/buses: 25%–45%.
  • Other Taxes: 10% VAT on CIF + customs duty + port/handling charges; environmental/processing levies may apply.
  • Exemptions: Diplomats and international organization staff (with proper documentation).

  • Clearance Time: Approximately 5–10 working days.
  • Note: CIF value used for duty and VAT calculation; poorly maintained or misdeclared vehicles may face delays or penalties.

  • Bill of Lading and Commercial Invoice.
  • Packing List and Export Inspection Certificate (recommended).
