Who Can Import: Private individuals and registered businesses in Gambia.
Drive Orientation: Only Left-Hand Drive (LHD) vehicles are permitted;
Right-Hand Drive (RHD) vehicles are prohibited except for authorized special purposes.
Age Restriction: Vehicles must be a maximum of 8 years old from the date of
manufacture.
Pre-shipment Inspection: Mandatory pre-shipment inspection is required; an
original or certified copy of the inspection certificate from the country of origin must be
provided.
