• • Destination Port: Mombasa (Kenya) serves as the primary gateway for vehicles transit-bound to South Sudan.
• • Shipping Logistics: Shipments via RORO take approximately 24–36 days with a monthly schedule.

Mandatory Inspection & Rules

• • A mandatory EAA pre-shipment inspection is required for all used vehicles imported from Japan.
• • Odometer tampering is strictly prohibited and will result in significant fines or vehicle rejection.

Duties & Taxes

• • Juba Entry: Customs duty rates typically range from 0% up to 45%.
• • Yei Entry: Customs duty rates typically range from 0% up to 20%.
• • Exemptions: Official government authorized exemptions may apply to specific projects or organizations.

Commercial Vehicle Requirements

• • Compliance with the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization (SSMO) is required.
• • Must possess a valid Quarantine License and undergo bank formalities.
