Required Documentation for Used Cars Import

Bill of Lading (BOL): Must include all relevant vehicle information such as the chassis number, engine number, year of manufacture, cubic capacity, brand, and model.
Bill of Entry: A Bill of Entry is required for customs clearance upon arrival in Nigeria.
Marine Insurance Policy: A marine insurance policy, issued by a Nigerian insurance company, is required.
Evidence of Payment of VAT: Proof of VAT payment is necessary for clearance.
Approved Form M: Form M must be processed through any authorized commercial/merchant bank in Nigeria. The Form M should be delivered to the appointed inspection agent's liaison office for the required checks.
