Import Conditions

• • Drive type: Only right-hand drive vehicles are allowed (traffic moves on the left side).
• • Age restriction: No age restriction for importing used vehicles.

Shipping Information

• • Destination port: Port of Male.
• • Shipping time: Approximately 21-30 days (RORO or container).
• • Vessel schedule: Weekly shipments.
• • Shipping line: Asia Forwarding Pvt. Ltd.

Duties and Taxes

• • Import duty: 15% of CIF (cost, insurance, and freight).
• • Other costs: Additional charges may apply based on customs valuation.

Required Documentation for Import

• • Title and registration certificate (original).
• • Purchase invoice (original).
• • Bill of lading (OBL).
• • Import license.
• • Insurance policy (for insured vehicles).
• • Original de-registration certificate (from the country of origin).
