submitted by the person named on the waybill or an authorized representative.
Bill of Lading: Required for sea shipments (can be direct or to order).
Commercial Invoice: Must describe the vehicle in detail (make, model,
VIN/chassis, engine number, etc.) and include gross/net weight and origin.
Insurance Certificate: Issued by the importer or their insurance provider
according to standard commercial practices.
Additional Supporting Documents
Certificate of Origin: Generally required in two copies (except for returns
or capital goods purchases).
Packing List: Not mandatory but highly recommended to assist with
clearance.
Pro-Forma Invoice: May be requested by the importer for pre-import cost
estimations.
Pre-shipment Inspection: May be requested by the importer as a voluntary
compliance measure.
